For over a decade, ESG provided a global model for companies to understand and communicate their responsibilities beyond financial performance. It helped introduce new concepts, structure issues, and articulate commitments to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance. Nowadays, a single global narrative no longer works: people interpret ESG issues differently via their local lens, and they judge companies’ impact through very local expectations.
That’s why we moved from ESG Monitor to Impact Monitor: a global survey of 20,000 citizens across 20 countries, that reveals this critical shift and provides leaders with the insights needed to craft strategies that resonate locally while sustaining a strong, coherent global narrative.
